CalcLite Privacy Policy

Section 1: Introduction

CalcLite (“the App,” “we,” or “us”) is an offline utility calculator designed with maximum user privacy in mind. We understand the importance of your personal data and take our responsibility to protect it seriously.

This policy is written to be straightforward and transparent: CalcLite does not track you, does not collect any of your data, and does not connect to the internet.

Section 2: Complete Data Non-Collection

We are proud to state that CalcLite does not collect, process, store, transmit, or share any personal data from its users.

Specifically, we do not collect:

  • Personally Identifiable Information (PII): We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any user account data.
  • Device Identifiers: We use no mechanisms to track your unique device, IMEI, Android ID, or Advertising ID.
  • Usage Analytics: We use no tracking mechanisms, such as Firebase, Google Analytics, or similar services, to monitor how you use the App.
  • Location Data: We require zero location permissions.

Zero data of any kind leaves your device through our application.

Section 3: Local-Only Storage (Isolated and Private)

To provide its core history feature, CalcLite stores your previous calculation results (e.g., 900 + 214 = 1114).

This data is stored strictly on your local device. We use standard local storage methods, specifically Android’s SharedPreferences, within the application’s isolated sandbox.

This data is:

  1. Never transmitted off the device.
  2. Inaccessible to third parties or the developer through the App’s functionality.
  3. Protected by Android’s local application storage security mechanisms.

The history function operates entirely offline.

Section 4: Device Permissions

CalcLite operates with zero required device permissions. We do not require or request access to:

  • Internet access.
  • Contacts, calendar, or photos/media.
  • Device storage outside the standard private application sandbox.
  • Camera or microphone.

Section 5: Third-Party Services

CalcLite does not use third-party APIs, SDKs, advertising networks, or social media integrations within the application itself.

Section 6: Data Deletion and Retention

You may delete all local history data at any time through the in-app history-clearing function.

Since all history data is stored locally, you retain control over its deletion. Uninstalling CalcLite will remove the application’s local data stored on the device, subject to the operating system’s normal behavior.

Section 7: Children’s Privacy

CalcLite is designed to be suitable for users of all ages.

Because we do not collect user data, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children or adults through the App.

Section 8: Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to update or change this Privacy Policy at any time.

Any changes will be published at this URL, which is linked from the application’s listing on the Google Play Store.
